Relatos de Cuerpo Y Alma Exhibition

The POP UP Gallery on Humber Street hosted my exhibition from July 21st to July 30th, 2023. As a figurative artist, I am deeply invested in capturing not only the physical likeness of my subjects, but also their unique personalities. To truly understand someone, I believe that it's important to engage with them and learn about their experiences, their past, their aspirations, and more. In my view, drawing portraits is a way of extending my perspective as well as theirs, and showing how they present themselves to the world.

This exhibition is a retrospective of my past decade of work since I made the decision to concentrate entirely on life drawing. It showcases some of my finest pieces and is the first time that these works are being presented together in an exhibition.
